Paris is located in the northern part of France and is also the capital. Also known as "the city of light" Paris offers opportunities for business, study, culture, entertainment and so much more. Fun fact: Although called "the city of light" the lighting of the eiffel tower at night has recently cut back its "sparkling" to help in the effort to conserve energy across the EU.
Most popularly, Paris is home to the Eiffel tower, the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, the Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. Famous designer brands such as Chanel, Cristian Dior and Louis Vuitton started in Paris.
Fun fact: The Eiffel tower is surprisingly not the most visited tourist attraction in Paris. Until the fire at Notre Dame in 2019, Notre Dame held the #1 spot for most yearly visits.
